    Answer: If you want to know the cost of train/ flight or taxi to reach Jaisalmer then I would suggest you to checkout IRCTC.co.in for train tickets cost and skyscanner.co.in for flights. Plus hotel stay in Jaisalmer starts from Rs 800-1000 per night to Rs 9,000 to Rs 14,000 for luxury hotels. A local taxi in Jaisalmer is available for whole day for Rs 2500 and almost similar fare is for a desert camp stay with camel safari at Sam sand dunes Jaisalmer.

  • 2. How many days are sufficient for Jaisalmer trip?
    Answer: If you are arriving in Jaisalmer by early morning, then you need 2 days, as then you can enjoy half day Jaisalmer Fort & city tour and remaining half at Sam sand dunes, where you can enjoy desert safari & camping activities.

    But if you are arriving at Jaisalmer in 2nd half then you need to give 3 days/ 2 nights, and now you will start your trip with 2nd half trip to Sam jaisalmer, then next full day for Jaisalmer Fort & city and then departure on day 3.

  • 3. How can I plan a trip to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer?
    Answer: First you need to give a minimum of 4 days/ 3 nights where you will spend 1 night in Jodhpur, 2nd night in Sam Jaisalmer and 2rd night in Jaisalmer City. Here you need to reach Jodhpur by day 1 morning & leave for Sam Jaisalmer on day 2, before noon. Then from day 2 evening to day 3 morning, stay in desert area, and from day 3 morning to day 4 enjoy local Jaisalmer city sightseeing & nearby sites tour.
